MISSION & CONTEXT : As a Senior Global Talent Manager, you will play a key role in shaping and executing talent strategies across multiple regions. You will be responsible for developing and implementing succession plans, overseeing talent recruitment initiatives, and providing strategic guidance and support to local markets worldwide. This role requires a deep understanding of talent management, a global mindset, and the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams.

 

This role is reporting to the Culture & People Development Director.

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

 

GLOBAL TALENT MANAGEMENT / SUCCESSION PLANNING:

  • Develop and implement comprehensive succession planning strategies to identify and nurture high-potential employees across the organization. Specific development plans will be created in partnership with local HR teams and Senior Global L&D Manager.

  • Collaborate with key stakeholders to assess current talent pipelines, identify gaps, and create development plans to fill critical roles

  • Proactively cultivate relationships: engage in proactive networking and relationship-building activities to identify, attract, and maintain connections with top-tier talents globally. This includes maintaining regular communication with potential candidates and understanding their career aspirations and skillsets

 

GLOBAL TALENT ACQUISITION MANAGEMENT:

  • Develop and implement the Global Talent Acquisition strategy: animate a global talent acquisition community, define best practices & guidelines, leverage synergies, implement a new ATS tool, provide a global training for managers in collaboration with Senior Global L&D Manager

  • Partner with local HR teams to ensure alignment with global talent acquisition strategies taking into account regional nuances and needs

  • Implement innovative recruitment strategies to attract diverse and qualified candidates through recruitment tools such as ATS (Applicant Tracking System)

  • Create synergies amongst markets to ensure best-in-class recruitment processes

 

COLLABORATION AND RELATIONSHIP BUILDING :

  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including HR, leadership, and various departments, to understand their talent needs and support their objectives

  • Cultivate strong relationships with external partners, such as recruitment agencies, to leverage resources

 

MONITORING :

  • Define, monitor and evaluate relevant KPIs to assess the effectiveness of talent management and recruitment initiatives, providing insights and recommendations for continuous improvement

  • Prepare regular reports and presentations for senior leadership on talent metrics and progress

 

HOW YOU CAN FIT :

  • Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or a related field

  • Minimum 10 years of experience in succession planning and talent pool animation as well as global talent acquisition management (in-house) preferably in a multinational organization

  • Experienced in the retail sector is mandatory

  • Local or regional market experiences (talent management or talent acquisition) would be a big plus

  • Strong understanding of global HR practices and cultural differences

  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder management skills

  • Solid project leadership skills with a can-do attitude and appetite to cultivate innovation

  • Able to motivate, inspire & lead by influence in a multicultural environment

  • Customer-focused, driving by engagement and results

  • Appetite to turn Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) initiatives into talent succession plans and talent acquisition best practices

  • Fluent in English, French is a plus
