In an effort to better understand our customers and their evolving behaviors, L’OCCITANE Group is looking for a talented Client Data analyst. This role is attached to the Customer Value team, which is dedicated to unlocking growth opportunities and optimizing our business strategies through the power of client data. As a Client Data Analyst, you will play a vital role in analyzing and interpreting customer data, providing valuable insights that will drive our business, client & CRM strategies forward. Within our Customer Value team, you will be at the forefront of driving growth and optimizing our business strategies through the lens of client data. You will demonstrate entrepreneurial spirit by being creative with both business and client KPIs, developing data analysis strategies, modeling outcomes, and ultimately providing clear conclusions and recommendations to P&L owners.

Your role will encompass the following key responsibilities:


Client & CRM :

  • Leverage your analytical skills to assess performance of existing & new client initiatives and strategies (clienteling, loyalty programs, customer segmentation, etc.),
  • Continuous CRM performance monitoring with revenue-generating teams and recommend on best solutions, methodologies and tools to gain in efficiency,
  • Master the L’Occitane customer journey and support cross-functional teams in maximizing their business impact across touchpoints and lifecycle,
  • Define and monitor KPIs, creating visualizations and reports to inform management on team performance and client & sales strategies,
  • Set up client A/B tests, analyze and generate insights to local MOP teams.


Omnichannel Distribution Strategy :

  • Become the owner of existing distribution optimization solutions (analytics that focus on POS-specific client data),
  • Improve and build on existing models to support finance teams and local P&L owners with identifying network optimization as well as distribution growth opportunities (expanding into new channels, maximizing return on investments in openings, renovations, and other initiatives).


Data excellence :

  • Play an active role in ensure data excellence within the organization (capability building, data reliability, data accessibility),
  • Foster close relationships with both local and international marketing teams.

  • This role is first of all an entrepreneurial business analyst role.
    Entrepreneurial because you will need to show creativity, drive and understanding of client levers & KPIs to come up with your way of looking at client data. There are no blueprint for the future, you’ll have to design it. Opportunities you spot can be tomorrow’s projects !
    Business analyst because the goal of the team is to drive revenue growth. Client analytics need to answer a business question, always ! 
  • Successful experience of 5+ years in CRM strategy, with a data analytics & consumer insights background,
  • Fluent in English, as we work in an international and multi-cultural context,
  • Solid knowledge in Python and any other language tool (tableau, SQL, etc.),
  • Good knowledge of CRM solutions (Salesforce), comfortable with solution, able to extract and play with salesforce client data,
  • Strong attention to detail, with a keen eye for accuracy and quality,
  • Ability to translate complicated findings into actionable recommendations,
  • Positive attitude, self-motivated, and a team player.
