Context & Mission :
The development of the L'Occitane Group and the central role of Information Systems for the management of its distribution network require the recruitment of a Tech Lead IT Retail. Within the IT Sell-out division, the TechLead IT Retail will actively participate in the operation and development of Retail solutions, as well as the analysis of user needs and the management of relationships with partners. The IS architectures are centralized around 4 regions (Americas, Europe, Asia-Pacific and Japan) covering a distribution network of more than 1,300 points of sale in 30 countries. Information systems are evolving rapidly to meet today's expectations and prepare for tomorrow's challenges.

This new position is based in Plan-les-Ouates (near Geneva) and reports to the IT Retail Domain Leader. Within the IT Retail domain (composed of two agile squads), the TechLead will join the POS (Point of Sales) squad.
Main Responsabilities : . She/he will be responsible for the ecosystem of retail solutions for all countries, and to:

Identify, understand and anticipate the needs of business users and ensure an adequate response, in line with the group's quality standards

Ensure availability and proper functioning of IT Retail solutions (front and back-office POS, clienteling, future solutions under study), monitor them and raise alerts if necessary

Train and support team members to raise the level of technical expertise

Participate in defining the architecture of the information system, ensure the maintenance and development of interfaces with other IT solutions (ERP, CRM, OMS, eCOM, data warehouse, etc.)

Guarantee an efficient and sustainable integration with other systems, force of proposal on improvements

Support and assist business users in getting started with IT tools

Establish effective contact with suppliers and monitor application developments

Ensure a technological watch and be proactive, challenge the existing

Manage projects for the implementation of new solutions within the Retail IS (planning management, resources, documentation, etc.).

Coordinate the integrated and UAT tests, and the deployment of the solution, including change management.

Take charge of certain qualified support requests (Level 3)

Promote continuous improvement and automation of low value-added tasks when relevant

Promote effective collaboration between the various central and regional teams, have a macro view of the architectures of other teams.
How you can fit :

5 years minimum experience in an IT Retail department

Experience with a POS solution, preferably with solutions from the CEGID editor (Y2, MPOS)

Experience in deploying and/or configuring integrated software packages

Experience in international environments

SQL knowledge

Mastery of the Windows Server environment (IIS / Services...)

Mastery of APIs (best practices, use, testing, monitoring...)

Fluent English mandatory

Knowledge of Agile work methodologies and the Scrum Framework is a plus
