Position Description

 

This exciting role is an opportunity to join the L’Occitane Recruitment team and work closely with them on the new Government Kickstart scheme.

The Kickstart scheme is a UK government supported scheme to create jobs for 16 to 24 year olds on Universal Credit. As part of the scheme, L’Occitane will be hiring individuals across our retail, head office & warehouse functions.

This role will be responsible for L’Occitane’s Kickstart scheme hiring process, including advertising vacancies, shortlisting, screening & interviewing applicants and being the main point of contact for stakeholders & candidates.

Major Responsibilities

 

  1. Being the main point of contact for the Kickstart Scheme from a candidate and stakeholder perspective
  2. Tracking all stages of the Kickstart recruitment process and ensuring the recruitment database is up to date at all times
  3. Reviewing applications to assigned vacancies and conducting 1st stage interviews either via video interviewing, Zoom, Teams or phone call
  4. Producing a shortlist of most suitable candidates to be forwarded to the hiring manager
  5. Arranging interviews and ensuring the candidate experience is exceptional
  6. Providing robust feedback to candidates in a timely manner
  7. Being the super user of the Government recruitment portal
  8. General administration to support the Recruitment team
  9. Building strong relationships with the hiring managers across the business

What we need from you:

 

  1. Ideally one years’ experience in a recruitment or HR environment
  2. Strong skills on MS Office with intermediate Excel skills
  3. Excellent communication skills and telephone manner
  4. Ability to work at pace with good attention to detail
