Position Description

This is a highly visible role in our top Boutique in the UK & IE with one of the biggest turnover in the Europe and will be at the forefront of creating an exceptional environment for customers as well as inspire the team to deliver a brilliant customer experience, whilst working in a fast paced environment.

The General Manager role will collaborate with other Boutique leadership teams and their team to analyse operational processes, customer trends and ensure that the day-to-day operational aspects of the Boutique are managed effectively.

Major Responsibilities
• Work with the Head of Outlets and Flagship in the execution of a business plan to deliver sales and profit goals.
• Builds stellar teams, drives a culture of high performance and engagement throughout the team.
• Actively supports development and builds capabilities of team members through coaching, measuring objectives & giving timely feedback 
• Drives results by maximising efficiencies, capitalising on new business opportunities & overcoming obstacles
• Collaborates with other Boutiques, regions and Head Office teams to implement strategic initiatives and determine opportunities for process improvement
• Upholds the brand image at all times and ensures that the customer is the primary focus and experiences all that we stand for as a brand
• Acts as a trusted leader while understanding the impact of initiatives on customer experience, Boutique workload, productivity, employee engagement, and ensure everyone’s compliance
• Works closely with Value Retail (owners of Bicester Village) teams, local and international teams to promote and educate on matters relating to the boutique.
• Drives a positive, rewarding, and collaborative work environment in which employees are encouraged to grow and understand how they can make a positive impact on the succession and development plan

What we need from you:

• You must be highly experienced in managing either an Outlet store, a Cluster Manager or Small Area Manager roles.
• Works in a collaborative and inclusive way
• Highly experienced in deliver an exceptional customer experience with the ability to coach others to deliver such experience
• Good influencer at all levels with excellent communication skills and is able to challenge effectively whilst building and developing strong working relationships
• Commercially focused with a “customer first” mind-set
• Self-driven and motivated
• Ability to create practices and procedures that helps to achieve objectives set
• Supportive of the development of others in a team
