CONTEXT:

The mission of the DE&I and Internal Communications Team is to contribute to a workplace where everyone feels heard and valued, as well as to attract and integrate future talents for all brands and entities of the Group, in an inclusive & fair way. Reporting directly to Group Internal Communications Manager, responsible for informing, inspiring and engaging the L’OCCITANE Group employees worldwide, the Group Internal Communications Intern will support the team in creating content to enhance awareness and engagement among internal audience – curating content for stories, news or campaigns to support business needs, enhance brand pride among employees, aligned to the internal communications strategy. The Group Internal Communications Intern will manage our global main channel Sociabble and support to harmonise and optimise internal communications tools / HR processes globally (dashboard, analytics, presentations…). The Group Internal Communications Intern will also manage our Race for Equity global employee engagement event.


 

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:
 

•    Support in creating internal communication content and optimising internal communication tools.

  • Creating engaging communication content for our global internal communications channel Sociabble: curating content, highlight Group / HR news
  • Editorial support for local stories, liaising with local teams cross-functionally
  • Set up and editorial calendar with regular news - keeping the editorial calendar fully up-to-date; assisting with editorial planning, creating reports and PowerPoint Presentations as required
  • Reporting / REX – create slides and consolidation on a regular basis, ad-hoc reports consolidation as needful
  • Organising internal events: emails, invitations, information…
  • Support on Town Hall logistics (booking resources/room, handling invitations) and any events that could be organise

 

•    Manage our Race for Equity global employee engagement event

 

•    Support the team on day-to-day activities

 

 

HOW YOU CAN FIT:

  • Bachelor or Master student, with an internship agreement provided by your current school (mandatory)
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and spoken
  • Attention to detail
  • Fluent in English, French is a plus (not mandatory but useful in Geneva)
  • Communication skills and team player
  • Positive attitude and mindset
  • Desire to learn / Growth mindset
  • Ask for help / speak up when it is not clear
  • Time management skills: well organised, with ability to handle several projects & tasks simultaneously
  • A helper with great sense of autonomy and responsibility
  • Ability to use our global internal communications platform, Sociabble and Sharepoint
  • Proficiency in Microsoft (PowerPoint, Word & Excel, Teams)
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud (Illustrator/Photoshop/Firefly) 
  • Video production and editing skills (Premiere Pro, ClipChamp)

 

 

STARTING DATE: January 2025 for 6 months (full-time position)
