CONTEXT & MISSION

We are looking for a highly motivated intern to join our agile cross-functional Global Revenue team – including CMI, Customer value & Digital performance teams. Global Revenue team mission is to optimize and maximize revenue growth by driving data-centric decisions and by effectively managing product assortment, category strategies, pricing and promotions at a worldwide level, with a primary focus on driving sales, increasing market shares & improving profitability.


As a member of the Global Revenue team, your mission will be to develop impactful and actionable recommendations, based on internal and external insights, to drive data-centric decisions for marketing innovation as well as for go-to-market decisions.

 

The position reports to the CMI Project Manager for L’Occitane en Provence.

 

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES: 

 

  1. Lead ad-hoc market research projects end-to-end, from design to activation of learnings
    Tasks can include, but are not limited to: identify research methodology, develop research lay-out, questionnaire creation, stimuli definition, survey configuration on Qualtrics, managing external research partners, cleaning and analyzing quantitative data, summarizing and presenting insights and actionable recommendations to internal stakeholders.

     
  2. Conduct competition watch on beauty brands:
  • Build consistent Market shares reports on categories, novelties and competition with actionable recommendations for top management and development team: hidden gems, growth opportunities, portfolio gaps, etc.
  • Monitor competitor’s strategies including: novelties, pricing and price increases, promotions.
     
  1. Lead ad-hoc analysis of qualitative data and quantitative data on various internal platforms.
     
  2. Provide support to Marketing Development Teams:
  • To conduct specific category and products analysis ensuring data driven portfolio development decisions.
  • To build qualitative pricing tests - including conjoint analysis – determining customers’ willingness to pay and consistent pricing strategy.
  • By organizing trainings on CMI tools for newcomers.
     
  1. Provide support to CMI and RGM teams on projects and ad-hoc requests: pricing and competition price strategies analysis, analytical tasks, data pull, community management, research and analysis, building of new tools.
     

 

HOW YOU CAN FIT:

  • Bachelor or Master student looking for an end-of-studies internship or gap-year internship (an internship agreement provided by your school is mandatory),
  • Some professional experience with a previous internship in Data Analytics.
  • Excellent organisation and project management, ability to adapt and demonstrate entrepreneurship, proactiveness and working autonomously
  • Fluent in English and French.

 

STARTING DATE: January 2025 for 6 months (full-time position)
